I went to the Dr yesterday...and saw a PA. The night before I awakened early in the morning (2:00), and managed to get myself all stressed out and angry about seeing a PA instead of a Dr. In fact, I got stressed out and angry about having to deal with the medical profession once again. I lost a lot of sleep that.

I have had considerable problems with dealing with that whole medical procedure situation ever since I retired July 1 last year. I have spent hours on the telephone with my insurance company, the Office of Retirement Services, and Social Services. It appears that finally all my work and anxiety has had positive results. I had no problems with insurance this visit.

The last time I saw a PA rather than the Dr, all the PA did was fill out paper work, and I had to make another appointment to see the Dr...so I had to 'pay' for two office calls rather than one. I was afraid that this would happen again.

Good news. The PA did just what I would have expected the Dr to do! I was pleasantly surprised! All that worry and loss of sleep was wasted...terrific! I was very satisfied with the whole visit. I was even out of there in less than a half hour. This is amazing and wonderful. I never have expected much from Dr visits and usually get just what I expect, not much.

I also got a clean bill of health. Once again very good news. The problem I had earlier this month, UTI, is all gone. I suggested that had I had the ability to get antibiotics when I first thought I needed them I would not have had to visited the emergency room that Friday night. The PA agreed and now I have a RX for antibiotic should I need it.

I really like it when things come together like I think they should
