Wednesday, so far...
We got up almost early...7:30! We were on the road with Lori's cousin Jan around 8:30 to Ocala. We met Jan's college roommate and her husband at Bob Evans for brunch. They are Michigan folks. Jan and roommate Lori had a terrific time catching up. We enjoyed listening and a fine breakfast. Lori and split as usual...which is our token resistance to all the eating we are doing here in Florida!
Ocala is not a long distance from Leesburg where Paquette's Farmall Museum is located. We had a guided tour around the premises, by a fellow that was real knowledgeable about Farmall Tractors. I posted some pictures on Facebook of that. I really enjoyed the museum...and Jan and Lori seemed to as well. We travelled the same roads that we took last week to the jams with Steve, Susie and Dick, ironically.
Jan wanted to stop in Ocala on our way back at Paddock Mall. My cell phone has not been holding a charge even one day, so we stopped at Radio Shack. They did not have battery for that old of a phone. There were several kiosks around that were selling cases/covers for cell phones. The guy asked if we wanted to buy one. I told him I was looking for a battery. He had those as well, even the correct one! So problem solved, hopefully.
Of course I noticed the Coldstone Creamery shop as soon as we went in. So we Just Had to Have Some! See what I mean about token resistence? It was delicious! BTW, Lori and I split that as well!
Now we're are home recouping...we will see what this evening brings!
Oh yeah, we stopped at Home Depot this morning as well...Lori got me out of there with only something in each hand! Things we need, Really!
